2020-2021

Hu hu hu is a series of works inspired by the stories and lullabies the artist heard in her childhood. The use of light tulles hang to create a dream-like space, each tulle swaying as the audience moves inside these stories. This allows the focus to be on the different states of womanhood and coming together with the mist and pastoral characters of nature. Using the transparency of the material, Terkol animates layers of dreams, memories and perceptions which will be multiplied by myths and stories of theaudience. As Hannah Arendt says "the term 'natality' describes not only the birth of the child but also the force of unpredictability unleashed into the world by this event."
