Güneş Terkol held an online workshop as part of the Biennale Jogja 17 in Indonesia. The banner work created after the workshop with the participation of local women will be exhibited during the biennial.
In September, her new banner "Women's Hopes" was produced in collaboration with Desa Prima (Indonesian Women Advancing Independently) members from Panggungharjo, Bantul. Desa Prima is one of the programs in Panggungharjo that has been running under a national program since 2019. It helps women develop their small businesses, recognizing that most domestic gender issues stem from economic hardship. Desa Prima in Panggungharjo involves around 30 women and focuses on financial empowerment at critical or vulnerable points so that women can perform more on the social and political stage.
